Yoga Teacher from a Christ-centered perspective

Other Staff Members

Rachel Glowacki started her fitness journey back in 1999 (YES...you can hum to Prince) teaching group fitness classes beginning with step aerobics(AFAA) then to Body Pump(Les Mills) and discovered along the way that getting still on the yoga mat would begin a revolution of health in body, mind and spirit for her.

She received her yoga teacher training in 2008 from a Christ centered perspective and was the first person to bring faith based yoga to Charleston, SC. She is now an Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher through Yoga Alliance with over 1,500 teaching hours. Rachel understands that our physical bodies teach us about our emotions, our inner flexibility, strength, and endurance. She believes the time-honored tradition of yoga can help develop the character of God in our lives by fostering patience, balance, humility, and self-control, benefiting our inner selves and our relationships with God and others. She currently floats from schools to churches, teaching both adults and children, that our breath is the greatest gift to decrease anxiety and increase peace in our mind and body.

Rachel lives in Mount Pleasant with her energetic and health-conscious husband, chef and restaurateur, Casey Glowacki, and two highly-spirited and inspirational boys, Liam and Grey. Rachel enjoys deep conversations, reading with her children, and going on family vacations to Costa Rica and Colorado.
