a 30-minute spin followed by a 30-minute strength session with a trainer. Great for those who want to pack a lot of sweat into a little time! $20 per class.

PrimeTime Spin Rates
>>> $10/class if prepaid for the month on the first of each month. This “saves your spin” and guarantees that you will have a bike.
>>> $15/class walk-in fee.
>>> 24 hour cancellation policy – if you cancel within 24 hours (time for us to find a replacement rider) we’ll give you credit for one class or your money back for that class.

What is it?
PrimeTime Spin is an indoor group cycling program using specialized stationary bikes, in which the physical athletic elements of speed and intensity are combined with the mental aspects that are created with group camaraderie, high-energy music, and motivating visualization. Participants will experience the simulation of a real outdoor biking adventure. In one class, you may encounter straightaways (fast pace with little resistance), hills (harder resistance), and jumps (rising out of the saddle).
Who can do it?
Anyone can participate, from the average adult seeking a break from a boring fitness routine, to the avid athlete looking to enhance his or her current training regimen. The amount of effort is determined individually by adjusting the resistance of the bike. PrimeTime Spin is also a low-impact sport so there is no barring or jolting on your joints.
Why Prime Time Spin?
Studies have shown that one session of a stationary cycling class can burn between 400-500 calories for those who weigh 125-200 pounds, and even more if your weight is higher. These same studies have shown that neither a 60-minute step class, a 90-minute power yoga session, nor a 60-minute stairclimber workout burn as many calories as one 40-minute group cycling class. PrimeTime Fitness is unique in that it offers a personal, private environment for participants. The studio setting of PrimeTime Fitness even allows for some classes to incorporate weight training intervals into their workout.
When can I do it?
PrimeTime Fitness offers daily classes at various times to accommodate almost any schedule.
How Much Does it Cost?
Monthly and per-class rates are available. Special discounts are given for those who wish to reserve a bike by submitting payment for the month in advance. Special group rates may also be arranged. Please call 883-0101 for details. |
